My Dream Bedroom!: A Little Slice of Heaven

My top five needs for my dream bedroom!

I love my bedroom, but the grass is indeed always greener. Like everyone, I do have quite an idea for a dream bedroom. But the first thing to be stated, I would love a city skyline view for my bedroom, that is the main thing that I want for my bedroom.

Bedroom Necessities

1. A nice super comfy bed with lots of pillows and a fluffy blanket. I will be sleeping for at least 12 hours a day (Probably)

2. A really cute mini-fridge! I need room for all the fanta and dr pepper.

3. LED lights! I gotta get that vibe lighting.

4. A super comfy couch! I need somewhere to sit and watch TV don’t it?

5. Elliptical. I probably should burn off those McDonalds calories.

How to: Microwaved Mug Cakes

Introduction

Whenever you want to enjoy a cake but not have to do the work, then this recipe is the perfect solution! Mug cakes provide the enjoyment of cake, but not all of the work. Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons milk (or dairy-free milk)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flavorless oil (sunflower, vegetable or coconut oil)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Funfetti sprinkles

Instructions

  • In a microwavable mug whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  • Add in the milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until just combined. Stir in the sprinkles.
  • Microwave for roughly 45 seconds – 1 minute, or until firm to the touch (timing is based on my microwave which is 1200 Watts so your timing may vary).
  • Serve warm with frosting, ice cream or cream.

Now sit back, relax, and enjoy your (near) effortless mug cake!

Jordan Elle Reservoir, Utah: Review

Not too long ago, me, my family, and my friend’s family went to a really cool camping place called Jordan Elle reservoir for a fun semi-camping experience. There are fire pits, cabins, a lake, a hiking area, and other fun things to do while you visit. All the cabins have heaters, beds, a microwave, one outlet, and a framed image. It may not really be camping, but it is a good beginner point to camping if you don’t want to set up a tent, and still have connection to the internet. You still get the nature experience with all the lovely wild life and such, but it isn’t as extreme. When I went it had lovely scenery, and the day was filled with skipping stones, (a sad attempt at) fishing, sitting by the fire, and hiking. By night we were cooking at the fire, stargazing, and joking around when it was nearly pitch-black. Overall, it was a great trip and on the second of October we are going back!
